These original handmade one of a kind earrings were created with various pigments and resin in my home studio based in Wairoa, New Zealand.
They are about 2cm in diameter and 4cm high, they are set in a silver coloured earring bezel. Resin is a very light medium so these earrings weigh next to nothing!
I love how the different pigments used to colour the resin react when they come in contact with each other causing the most wonderful effects! The introduction of heat with a blowtorch allows me to manipulate the resin even further.
